China tungsten price was stable in the week ended on march 2023. But the suppliers had rised mentality and buyers remained rational sentiment. The whole market trading was quiet.
At present, the price of tungsten carbide raw materials is RMB 266-268/kg, and there is a certain room for increase in the short term, but there is not much room. The price of finished products is basically stable.
To sum up, the tungsten carbide market is in a weak consolidation stage, the supply of raw materials is normal, the back-end consumption is slightly poor, and the adjustment period of tungsten price may be extended, but it does not have the conditions for a sharp fall, so there are still risks in shorting.
