Tungsten deep processing project plans to carry out in Kazakhstan

The Kazakhstani state-owned company for investment and the President of the China Overseas Development Association for Industry and the Chairman of Jiaxin International Resource Investment Co., Ltd. held a meeting to discuss increasing investment activities in the mining sector in Kazakhstan. The two sides discussed Jiaxin International's plans to implement a tungsten deep processing project in Almaty Province. The total investment for this project will reach 450 million US dollars and will create over 1,000 job positions. The President of the China Overseas Development Association for Industry, He Zhenwei, pointed out the importance of the bilateral strategic partnership with the Kazakhstani state-owned company for investment and emphasized that since early 2022, Chinese companies have shown a significant increase in interest in implementing projects in Kazakhstan. The association assists Chinese companies in launching projects overseas, and Jiaxin International is one of them. The Chairman of the Kazakhstani state-owned company for investment, Melzhan Yussupov, emphasized that Chinese companies are one of the main partners for implementing major investment projects in Kazakhstan and actively participate in the country's industrialization process. According to him, investors are interested in the mining industry, including the development of deposits and deep processing projects. The state-owned company is willing to provide all possible support for investors to implement such projects in Kazakhstan.
